Emilo Mora, Jr won the PBA Central Region Dan Ottman Memorial Tournament using a Break Pearl. Emilo averaged 240 for 16 games with high games of 300, 299, 268, and 257 on the PBA Cheetah pattern. Emilo had his Break Pearl drilled (5" x 4-1/2" pin above fingers) "allowing the ball to get through the heads cleanly with a strong back end".
